Were you also aware that it has a possible SNMP compromise? Search for "D-Link DWL-1000AP can be compromised because of SNMP configuration" in the BugTraq archives. Basically, the admin password of the unit is available in plain-text if you know how to do a MIB walk. :( Supposedly you can only fiddle from the ethernet side of the device, but I didn't test and don't know if that's true or not.
