Pero no gateway segun entiendo (por el interfaces) tendria que ser
132.68.7.254.
has probado a hacer ping a esa maquina haber si llegas ???
si la "ves" prueba con
route add default gw 132.68.7.254

A mi me suena a que la red no esta configurada o no tiene gw puesto.
Haz en una consola lo siguiente y manda el resultado
ifconfig
route
Es para ver tu configuracion de red.

Se me aruino el netwok. Me parece q' fue x window q' tengo instalado en el
VmWare. En fin el sintoma es q' no tengo network. Por ej. el ping me
devuelve
lo siguiente:
" ping: sendto: Network is unreachable "
intente reinstalar el kernel-image con el dpkg y sigue el mismo problema.
Prove
otro kernel q' tambien antes funcionaba y lo mismo. Osea q' es algo mas
alla de
los kernel.
La targeta de red aparentemente esta bien pues resete con windows 2000 y
tenia
red y internet normal.
En fin, por favor, si tiene alguna idea de como resolver esto le estare
muy
agradecido.
