There is a webapp for basic web-based administration of Tomcat's webapps in the tomcat4-admin package. You need to add one of the users in /var/lib/tomcat4/conf/tomcat-users.xml to the manager role and probably set a better password. The "Web Application Manager" can then be accessed at http://localhost:8180/manager/html. There's also a more sophisticated administration webapp called "admin" but this is not yet available in the Debian package since the Struts framework is not yet packaged.
Esto esta en el README.Debian, ahora mi pregunta es, hay alguna manera de darle vuelta al asunto, o no hay caso y si quiero usar los paquetes de Debian me quedo sin el webapp Admin? ¿Mi única otra solución al tema es instalar desde el .tar.gz? Saludos. PD: Se que funciona el tomcat4, pero como estoy empezando en el tema y estoy trabajando con otra persona que lo usa en Win, quisiera poder usar el maldito administrador también en Debian. PD_1: Ya edite los usuarios y al manager puedo entrar, comento por las dudas.
