Desde el cambio de mi máquina pasé a usar un modem externo (USRobotics)
para la conexión a internet. En XP pude establecer el enlace pero en mi
Woody todavía no. Estoy intentando todo lo que conozco y lo que
encuentro en google. Tal parece que mi máquina envía LCP pero no recibe
respuesta del ISP, sin embargo no ocurre en XP. Como se que cuando uno
tiene algún problema, 4 ojos ven más que dos, lo consulto con ustedes
para ver dónde estoy equivocándome. Les paso la salida del ppp.log

Me respondo a mi mismo, poner &D0 en la cadena de inicialización del modem fue
suficiente.
