Yo tengo una Diamond Stealth 64 DRAM con S3 Trio64. En el primer
intento de instalaci�n como en el tasksel salen tan pocas tarjetas le
puse la S3 Vierge. Al fallar, ejecut� 'xf86config' para ponerle otras,
pero cuando trataba de arrancar segu�a tratando de utilizar la S3
VIERGE. A pesar de que el /etc/X11/Xf86Config me lo escrib�a y
actualizaba bien.
Incluso renombr� el fichero /etc/X11/Xf86Config a
/etc/X11/Xf86Config.porsi para ver si "cascaba", pero ni lo le�a.
He vuelto a hacer la instalaci�n. Esta vez le he dado "VGA" en el
tasksel, pero le he puesto 24 bits y me da un error de

Eso lo entiendo, pero es que he entrado con el 'xf86config', he
definido una Super VGA, me ha grabado el fichero y despu�s me vuelve a
salir el mismo error. Observo que no ha tocado la Graphics device
section. En particular sigue existiendo la l�nea
Driver "vga"
y la he cambiado por "svga", pero ni se inmuta.
De hecho como digo, no lee el fichero. Creo que por la raz�n que sea
est� tomando la informaci�n de otro sitio.
Como si lo que grab� la instalaci�n estuviera "en otro sitio".
�Alguna idea?

yo tengo una Trio3D, te mando mi XF86Config para que lo veas, quiz�s te
sirva. El servidor que uso es el XF86_SVGA, mi tarjeta no funciona con
32 bits
