Apanhei igual cachorro de uma ati rage 128, e ai vai como consegui fazer ela funcionar!!! Va para o console e siga o roteiro: 1) Coloque estas linhas em seu /etc/souce.list #ati driver deb http://www.stanchina.net/~flavio/debian/ ./ deb-src http://www.stanchina.net/~flavio/debian/ ./ Depois apt-get update apt-get install fglrx-* 2) Levante os seguintes modulos no kernel 2.6 (no 2.4 e semelhante): intel_agp vga16fb vgastate fbcon ati_agp radeonfb agpgart fglrx Observe que intel_agp se refere a minha placa-mae, se a sua for diferente voce devera procurar o modulo especifico. 3) Edite seu /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 na mao e altere o driver que esta la por "fglrx": Section "Device" ~ Identifier "Sua_Placa" ~ Driver "fglrx" ~ Option "UseFBDev" "true" EndSection 4) Levante o X com o comando xinit Se funcionar, beleza. Se nao funcionar e voltar para o console veja o log do Xfree. Se a tela ficar preta com o led do monitor vermelho, significa que a placa esta configurada, mas a frequencia do monitor precisa ser ajustada. Voce tambem pode usar o utilitario fglrxconfig para gerar o XF86Config-4, mas tera de edita-lo na mao para ajustar o teclando, uma vez que ele nao gera a parte de teclado para pt_BR. Se seu teclado e us_intl nao tem problema.
