Quand c'est comme ça, je te conseille de faire un "grep -i agp", afin
que le grep ignore la casse.

Je viens de comparer mon lspci avec le tiens. Il ressemble très
fortement à celui de mon portable (chipset sis 645DX).
Je ne pourrais pas beaucoup t'aider car j'ai fait le grand saut en
2.5-2.6 depuis un bon moment et n'ai plus de souvenir de mes
configurations en 2.4.
Mais en tout cas ce que je peux te dire, c'est qu'on 2.6 je n'ai aucun
probleme avec l'agp.

J'ai aussi rajouté les driver ati (fglrx), qui marche très bien aussi.
PS: J'ai vu en cherchant sur le net le conseil suivant :
So to get it going you need to tell the module to try the unsupported chipset
which means adding agp_try_unsupported=1 to your insmod. Then add this to
your modules.conf:
option agpgart agp_try_unsupported=1
alias /dev/agpgart agpgart
Mais est-ce une bonne idée ? Je ne suis pas capable (pas encore) d'en juger
