Il n'y a pas cette option dans le man CRYPTTAB(5) de ma version stable,
il n'y a pas de mention : Added in version 186, alors qu'elle est bien
présente ici :

Je pense que Dethegeek parlait de l'option nofail de fstab (que je n'ai
jamais utilisée):
"[...]
nofail
do not report errors for this device if it does not exist.
[...]"
