Je souhaite configurer mon imprimante/scanner EpsonStylus Photo RX500,
pour utiliser la fonction Scanner. Impression avec CUPS marche.
J'ai installé sane et xsane.
Je fais une recherche du scanner par: sane-find-scanner. Il le trouve
sur le bus USB.
found USB scanner (vendor=0x04b8 [EPSON], product=0x0807 [USB2.0
MFP(Hi-Speed)]) at libusb:004:002
Mais xsane ne trouve pas le scanner.
Scanimage donne une erreur
# scanimage -d epson -L
No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different,
check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the
sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation
which came with this software (README, FAQ, manpages).
Dans /etc/sane.d/epson.conf
J'ai ajouté la ligne : usb 0x04b8 0x0807
Kernel 2.6.14, Debian Unstable.
