I see that I linked the wrong upstream Gitlab report, here's the correct one in case there's confusion.

Hello Geert,

Someone else also advised to contact the last uploader first, which I will try as well. But I would still appreciate if you sent a raw answer of "How" over the weekend.

Kind Regards,
Maarten

Hello,

I've never reported anything for Debian so please redirect me if I need to
report it else where. I'm running into a bug with Debian 13 which has
already been fixed Upstream.
https://gitlab.com/Remmina/Remmina/-/work_items/3283

The issue described happens in the package remmina 1.4.39 when you use the remmina functionality of sending "Keystrokes" to the remote host Remmina
crashes. Debian 13 still ships
with that version so the issue occurs then.

apt policy remmina
 remmina:
  Installed: 1.4.39+dfsg-1+deb13u1
  Candidate: 1.4.39+dfsg-1+deb13u1
  Version table:
 *** 1.4.39+dfsg-1+deb13u1 500
500 http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian trixie/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Would it be possible to push a newer version of remmina to the repos or one with a backported fix so that my remmina in Debian 13 doesn't crash each
time when using the send "Keystrokes" functionality?

Yes

A raw answer on "How?" will I post this weekend
on [email protected] in Dutch.

Kind regards,
Maarten
