Comments/Problems:

I tried booting directly from CD, which failed (for the records: I
_can_ boot bootable cdroms like Woody-1 or Knoppix).

After looking into the install docs, I wrote install/smb.bin onto a
floppy. I got the Smart Boot Manager Menu, but when trying to choose
the CD-ROM, I just got a red dialog box saying "Disk error 0xAA" and
nothing further happened.

The current 100MB-Netinst-CDROM does not contain any root/rescue
images (floppy-image.img is not bootable either). I don't have
DOS/Windows available, so I cannot try loadlin.

On a normal Debian package this would be a grave bug, so please
lift the severity if appropriate.
