After an upgrade from vmlinuz-2.4.20-3-k7 to vmlinuz-2.4.22-1-k7, I got the following log entries (see below, in particular those marked by ->) when booting/trying to use CD drive (both reading and writing). The computer freezes, and I have to press the reset button. I am using debian sarge, on a SiS motherboard with a duron processor.
Otherwise the system works fine, and I have tested both reading and writing with 2.4.20 AFTER the problems, so it is unlikely a problem with broken hardware. - Nenad.
