I am getting many errors when installing packages such
as:
Perl: Warning: Setting locale failed Perl: Warning: Please check that you locale settings: LANGUAGE = (unset), LC_ALL = (unset),
LC_CTYPE =
"en_US,UTF-8",
LANG = (unset)
are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling_back to standard locale
("C")
locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such
file or directory
locale: Canot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file
or director
I tried running the setlocale command but it does not seem to be
installed, nor is it a package in of itself to install. So i installed the
localeconf for debconf but i have never used debconf outside of the installtion
and can't seem to get the syntax correct despite looking at the info and man
pages.
Any help appreciated,
