I did the following (surely the wrong way, but...):
apt-get remove libxft-dev libpango1.0-dev libgtk2.0-dev libglade2-dev
And then:
apt-get dist-upgrade
apt-get install libglade2-dev
The last action brings back all the removed pkg's...
