package dependency issue? libstdc++5_3.2.1-0pre4 (unstable)

Given a test application compiled by g++-3.2_3.2.1-0pre3_i386,
installing the 3.2.1-0pre4 series yields the following:

  $ ./test 
  ./test: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.3' not found (required by 
  /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5)

The 3.2.1-0pre4 package series installed over the 3.2.1-0pre3 series with
no dependency complaints, despite the apparent problem.
