Hi! Could someone with a desktop installed on their sparc64 box please test the firefox package from experimental and check whether the alignment-related crash is still present [1]?
If yes, I will send upstream a patch to fix it or actually try out my level1(?) commit access to the Mozilla repository that I was granted half a year ago. To install, use such a sources.list: # binary default deb http://ftp.ports.debian.org/debian-ports/ unstable main deb http://incoming.ports.debian.org/buildd/ unstable main deb http://ftp.ports.debian.org/debian-ports/ unreleased main deb http://ftp.ports.debian.org/debian-ports/ experimental main # source deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ unstable main deb-src http://incoming.debian.org/debian-buildd/ buildd-unstable main deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ experimental main deb-src http://incoming.debian.org/debian-buildd/ buildd-experimental main and: # apt update && apt install -t=experimental firefox You also should pin down experimental in your /etc/apt/preferences: Package: * Pin: release a=experimental Pin-Priority: 1 Adrian > [1] https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1434726 -- .''`.
