- - read and follow the release notes [1] - - upgrade one machine and record your steps with a program like screen. - - if all goes well just edit your steps into about two scripts that can be run on the other machines (semi)-automatically (assuming that configuration is essentially the same). I would not recommend to run testing on ~100 machines. Testing might occasionally break and with 100 machines Murphy's law states that it will break when you don't have the time to fix so many machines. YMMV, of course. (Your post suggests that etch has been fine till yesterday, so I assume that lenny's software versions will do tomorrow. ;-) ) Johannes -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAktYh/EACgkQC1NzPRl9qEXp7ACfTQ6zlu21YGmd2uBg5AJ/SGKv bK8AmwRhHqxyAQPONVCGgouUSeFzW9LW =Ybaj -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-security-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
