Thanks (both), this will be useful. But, to support our point: olympe ~ % dpkg -p equivs | tail -3 note as well that using it is not the recommended way of dealing with broken dependencies. Better file a bug report instead. My original message was CC'ed to [EMAIL PROTECTED]; nothing changed yet (except for a strange resend from fmis402r.omnitel.it), according to http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=149714 I haven't had any word from the maintainer or anybody else outside of this thread on debian-security.
