This has been an RC bug for some time. I was unable to get this version of the package to build on sparc. The latest upstream release however did build on sparc, but I didn't have enough time/expertise/enthusiasm to backport a fix. > > Package: octave-symbolic (optional; Debian Octave Group et al.) > [octave-symbolic/1.0.6-1 ; 1.0.6-2 ; 9/5 days ; arm(Building)] > 512075 [P T] octave-symbolic: Undefined symbol AFAICT, this is fixed by the latest update. > > Package: octave3.0 (optional; Debian Octave Group et al.) > [octave3.0/1:3.0.1-6lenny1 ; 1:3.0.1-6lenny2 ; 0/10 days] > 513576 [ NT] octave-symbolic does not uninstall AFAICT, this is fixed by the latest update. > > [FROZEN] Package: openmpi (extra; Debian OpenMPI Maintainers et al.) > [openmpi/1.2.7~rc2-2 ; 1.3-2 ; 4/10 days ; > alpha(Build-Attempted);sparc(Build-Attempted)] > 510845 [ B] mpi-defaults: FTBFS/not available on alpha > 512616 [ B] [openmpi] missing symbols? > > [FREEZE] Package: ttf-mathematica4.1 (extra; contrib; Atsuhito KOHDA) > [ttf-mathematica4.1/6 ; =] > 511644 [ ] ttf-mathematica4.1: Mathematica fonts have changed url And I've missed out[1] root-system: [FROZEN] Package: root-system (optional; Christian Holm Christensen) [root-system/5.18.00-2.1 ; =] [add/edit comment] 513542 [ S N ] root-system: Does not properly check the return value of X509_REQ_verify So openmpi, ttf-mathematica4.1 and root-system (and ideally axiom) all need bugs fixing before the release. octave and octave-symbolic need the release team to allow them in. > > Remember folks - these bugs need to be fixed before the lenny > release.
