I have a personal interest in learning this (basic packaging), but won't have time until late December. If no one else steps up, I'll do it then. In the meantime, a suggestion: I've seen recently a discussion on trying to convince upstream to re-license some software to be dfsg-free (IIRC, in debian-science). I don't remember the software itself, but the discussion revolved on what would be the proper wording to send as a request to that upstream. This one I linked, dotur, appears to have no license I can find (the COPYING file in the latest version is actually a tgz for an old release, and the website is pretty minimal). Maybe some DD could send a request to this Dr. Schloss to make it GPL? regards FF -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
