Hi, Whilst working on the Reproducible Builds effort [0], we noticed that pysph could not be built reproducibly. This is because it generates a Python .egg in a directory that is named with the current kernel version. On the Debian i386 architecture this can either be i686 or x86_64 when running the 64-bit kernel. Patch attached that uses --single-version-externally-managed instead, preventing the generation of the egg in the first place.
