--- Begin Message ---Package: elemerfem Severity: serious Dear maintainer / ftp-master, elmerfem is RC-buggy with 3 RC bugs: #698527 elmer: executable ElmerGUI.real links with both GPL-licensed and GPL-incompatible libraries #740463 libelmersolver-6.1.so links with both GPL-licensed and GPL-incompatible libraries #754713 elmerfem: FTBFS : The MPI version needs parpack. Disabling MPI. #720146 elmer: fails to remove: rmdir: failed to remove '/usr/share/ElmerGUI/edf': Directory not empty For #698527 actual status is unclear, and the question if this bug is now solved has ben unanwered since Wed, 11 Jun 2014 [https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=698527#239) #720146 has a fix in the repository, but has never been uploaded. The fix has been commited over two years ago, the last commit to the repository. #740463 is another licensing item; as there was not action on the packaging/repository after Feb 10th 2014, I assume that this issue still stands. Last conversasion on the bug was Sun, 2 Mar 2014 #754713 is a FTBFS. I tried also to build elmerfem on amd64 and also saw this error. This bug has been filed July 2014 (but only recently raised to RC) Last upload to sid was on Dec 12th 2013, Debian version 6.1.0; experimental has version 7.0 -- Upstream has recently released version 8.2 (with versions 8.0 and 8.1 released in 2015) As it seems unmaintained, I raise the question if it should be removed from Debian. Please response to this bug, if there is no response within a month, I will reassign this bug to ftp.debian.org Thanks for your understanding, -- tobi -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.5.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Ini]: systemd:(via /run/systemd/system)
