Package: mpich Version: 3.2-6 Severity: wishlist Hi,
The MPICH package description still says "implementation of the Message Passing Interface (MPI) standard (both MPI-1 and MPI-2)". However, as of some time now I think, MPICH supports MPI-3 as well. As an extra kick against OpenMPI, it could also mention that it supports the MPI_THREAD_MULTIPLE option - I "have" to use MPICH for some of my packages as OpenMPI's MPI_THREAD_MULTIPLE implementation is buggy and (rightfully) not enabled in Debian.
