The octave interface was removed in version 2.2.1+svn921-1, because it was causing the package to FTBFS (see #741110). The problem actually comes from a bug in swig2.0, which I mark as blocking the present bug. Once swig2.0 is fixed, the octave interface can be re-introduced. -- .''`.
