Dear Maintainer,

I'm one of the upstream developers of cppTango, which is the source for
the libtango10 package.

We recently released two patch versions [1, 2] of cppTango. These
versions fix a severe bug [3]. The bug breaks event based communication
between major versions, e.g. libtango9 from oldstable/old-oldstable can
not receive events anymore from libtango10 from trixie/bookworm-
backports. No issue with pure libtango10 systems but these are rare in
practice.

We therefore kindly request to update the package in trixie/bookworm-
backports to 10.0.3 which has the minimal fix.

Closes: 1118207
Changes:
 tango (10.0.2+dfsg1-2+deb13u1) trixie; urgency=medium
 .
   * Team upload.
   * Fix broken communication between major versions: libtango9 cannot receive
     events from libtango10 (Closes: #1118207)
   * d/gitlab-ci.yml (Salsa CI):
     - Set RELEASE to trixie in d/gitlab-ci.yml to explicitly trigger
       trixie-based pipelines.
     - Disable the reprotest job. Releases older than unstable are not very
       well supported by the Salsa CI's reprotest job, and this failing without
       a good reason.
