Package: geomview
Version: 1.8.1-12
Severity: minor
geomview puts a number of files in /usr/lib/geomview with names such
as .geomview-sweep. chkrootkit flags these up as being suspicious,
and indeed it is unusual to have dot-files installed by a package.
Any chance of changing this?
Julian

I think the short answer is "no". Geomview development has been basically in
stasis for a decade or more.
I'm closing this old bug.
