Я прошу прощения - здесь я соврал. Free software это не только программы защищённые от узурпации. От узурпации защищают (L)GPL подобные лицензии. Но pubic domain это конечно тоже free software. Вот полное определение "Free Software" http://www.fsf.org/licensing/essays/free-sw.html В общем Open Source это практически тоже самое что и Free Software, просто FSF предпочитает использовать термин Free Software как более подходящий The term ``open source'' software is used by some people to mean more or less the same thing as free software.
