Hi!
These are packages with bitmap Cyrillic fonts for X. There will be
separate packages for four encodings: KOI8-R (used in Russia), KOI8-U
(used in Ukraine), CP1251 (used in Bulgaria and Belarus) and
ISO-8859-5 (used in Yugoslavia and Macedonia and also by Emacs mule).
The packages xfonts-cronyx-{koi8r,koi8u,cp1251,iso} contain the font
collection known as Cronyx Ltd. collection. This collection has both
75dpi and 100dpi fonts.
The packages xfonts-bolkhov-{koi8r,koi8u,cp1251,iso} contain the font
collection Cyr-RFX of Dmitry Bolkhovityanov. It is still in active
development. These fonts look better than the fonts from Cronyx
Collection, but for now there are only 75dpi fonts.
