I had forgotten this variable but I think I never had any use for it.
In ruby-simpleidn there is a 'tables' directory at the top with a script
and some data to generate one of the lib file. It's useless and lintian
complained so I made a patch to ignore it in the gemspec (which lazily
uses `git ls-files` with a filter).
So I just tried using it with 'tables/*' (as per the manpage) and it
worked :-). Thank you.
