quick update:

- gem2deb 0.39 was uploaded with the change mentioned above

- in the next release of devscripts, uscan will rewrite
  https://pkg-ruby-extras.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/gemwatch to
  https://gemwatch.debian.net/ locally

- the old pkg-ruby-extras.alioth.debian.org site is now hosted by DSA,
  and redirects to gemwatch.debian.net

Now, a request: going forward, please pay attention to migrating
debian/watch files away from the old hostname, so that these workarounds
can be dropped at some point. updating the packaging files with
`dh-make-ruby` from time to time is a good practice anyway, so please
just do that.
