On the contrary my intention was to save ourselves a great deal of time but most of all I want to understand the technical reasoning for another package name change and why we just can't wait until the rdeps' of other C++ dependencies complete their ABI transitions and then schedule the binNMUs. Since you are a member of the Debian Games team, please feel free to rename the binary packages at anytime. I can't upload them myself. Regards, Markus
