Hi, I think there is a misunderstanding (although on whose part i'm not sure). I set 791114 to important to prevent libdap from transitioning to testing before being rebuilt with gcc5.
libdap is a c++ library with c++11 ABI changes, with a SONAME change in this version (3.12.0 -> 3.14.0). If it transitions now, a second transition with new ugly v5 names will be needed for gcc5, which I wish to avoid. Whats the optimal procedure for this? regards Alastair On 09/07/2015 20:09, Debian Bug Tracking System wrote: > Processing commands for cont...@bugs.debian.org: > >> severity 791114 normal > Bug #791114 [release.debian.org] libdap: library transition may be needed > when GCC 5 is the default > Severity set to 'normal' from 'important' >> thanks > Stopping processing here. > > Please contact me if you need assistance. -- Alastair McKinstry, <alast...@sceal.ie>, <mckins...@debian.org>, https://diaspora.sceal.ie/u/amckinstry Misentropy: doubting that the Universe is becoming more disordered. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-release-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
