Indeed it is, however the diff was provided after the window for
accepting updates into 8.1 had closed.

It's currently Monday morning and less than 48 hours after the point
release (and thus probably a couple of months until the next one), so
feels a little soon to be chasing, IMHO.
Having just had a very quick look at the log for #776094, it appears
that the bug affects the package in unstable and is not yet fixed there.
If that's not correct, then please fix the metadata - if it /is/
correct, then the bug must be fixed in unstable before we consider it
for a stable update; that's been policy for as long as I remember and
was re-iterated in the dda mail recently.
