Because, without it, in the build log you would find: W: dh_python2:479: Please add dh-python package to Build-Depends That's the main reason why I added it. It's a minor change that would keep the package in shape. But if it goes against the freeze policy, then I can drop it. Please, let me know how I should proceed now. Cheers. -- Matteo F.
