Is there really no chance to accept the new release? It is really a superior release than what we have in Jessie right now, it has proven its stability, and it missed the cut just due to a race condition in the build process (which upstream fixed in less than 1 day) and not a grave bug in its code. Of course, if the answer is still no, I will upload to tpu a targeted fix, but please consider what written above.
