amd64 workstation:

handbrake
jitsi
libav
libquicktime
opal
The following FTBFS:
gst-plugins-ugly0.10 (#741848, unrelated to this transition)
vlc seems to fail to build for reasons unrelated to x264 - possible
there is something screwed up in my build system:
