Hi, I thought I had set a x-debbugs-cc, but seem to have messed this up.
Looks like the binNMU of libhypre-2.8.0b migrated to testing too early. That one is satisfied in jessie by libopenmpi1.6 (1.6.4-2 from src:openmpi1.6, while sid has 1.6.5-5 from src:openmpi), but it breaks libhypre-dev (arch all). Is this a bug in britney? Andreas BTW, filed this as http://bugs.debian.org/729214 for src:hypre -------- Original Message -------- Subject: libhypre-dev: uninstallable in jessie, libopenmpi1.3 vs libopenmpi1.6 conflict Date: Sun, 10 Nov 2013 12:13:26 +0100 From: Andreas Beckmann <[email protected]> To: Debian Bug Tracking System <[email protected]> Package: libhypre-dev Version: 2.8.0b-1 Severity: serious Tags: jessie sid User: [email protected] Usertags: piuparts Control: block 711943 with -1 Hi, libhypre-dev is currently uninstallable in jessie, some fallout from the openmpi transition. The involved dependecies: libhypre-dev [2.8.0b-1] -> mpi-default-dev [1.0.2] -> libopenmpi-dev [1.4.5-1] -> libopenmpi1.3 (= 1.4.5-1) [1.4.5-1] -> libhypre-2.8.0b (>= 2.8.0b-1) [2.8.0b-1+b1] -> libopenmpi1.6 [1.6.4-2] -> CONFLICTS: libopenmpi1.3 I'm not sure whether this is actually hypre's fault ...
