I'm pretty confident this only has an influence on the upgrades that didn't upgrade gcc-4.4-base (and kept the version from squeeze). I can help testing upgrade paths in advance if you can describe some squeeze package sets you are interested in. And I'll help debugging+fixing in case there are any unexpected failures caused by this. For the piuparts failures that will be fixed by this change see this list: http://piuparts.debian.org/squeeze2wheezy/packages_have_been_kept_back_error.html this fixes the 20 packages with a *_None.log there and allows testing more rdepends (the number to the left of the log For testing wheezy 7.0 -> 7.1 upgrades we now have a new piuparts suite "wheezy2proposed" http://piuparts.debian.org/wheezy2proposed/ and I plan to set up squeeze2wheezy-proposed, too. These would be the ideal upgrade testbeds. Andreas -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-release-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
