Hi Jonathan, I do not claim responsibility for the very simple patch which was actually done by Christophe Trophime but I could easily do the following:
1. Branch scotch 5.1.12b.dfsg-1.1 and apply Christophe's changes to fix the name clash issue 2. Upload 5.1.12b.dfsg-1.2 to testing-proposed-uploads I have no idea how hard the handling of testing-proposed-uploads might be for the release team. So I could imagine an alternative plan to unblock 5.1.12b.dfsg-2 which has admittedly more changes than acceptable in freeze time (sorry, I did not realised this problem in July last year - that's my fault) but all in all enabling hardening should not cause real trouble. In case release team might consider the later plan I'd volunteer to create the necessary diffs for an unblock request - just tell me what plan you prefer and I will do this. Kind regards Andreas.
