I'm not on the Release Team but this change sounds scary to me; it changes behaviour from what we've had in the entire wheezy freeze period. Even while a tryonce option was implemented in sid it defaulted to 'yes'. (The rationale for this was bug #694541.) Releasing DHCPv6 has also been reverted due to a regression.
