This is now fixed for libnet-twitter-lite-perl in experimental. Release team: the old API from twitter is very close to going away; https://dev.twitter.com/blog/api-v1-retirement-update and new upstream releases of both Net::Twitter and Net::Twitter::Lite are needed to allow continued usage of these modules. The upstream diffs are quite large: https://metacpan.org/diff/release/MMIMS/Net-Twitter-Lite-0.11002/MMIMS/Net-Twitter-Lite-0.12000 https://metacpan.org/diff/release/MMIMS/Net-Twitter-3.18003/MMIMS/Net-Twitter-4.00003 but the alternative is probably removing both from wheezy (and squeeze). FWIW, there's a (somewhat sloppy, to be tidied up) backport of Net::Twitter::Lite 0.11002 for squeeze at http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=pkg-perl/packages/libnet-twitter-lite-perl.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/experimental-squeeze Thoughts: new upstream releases; remove; something else?
