Noting a fairly high number of users as counted via popcon I think that removing clamav-data should at least be worth a note in the release notes. Speaking as clamav maintainer, that might also be a proper place for the suggested documentation of setting up a local mirror. The only other option seems to be the freshclam man page, but if we specifically want to target prior users of the clamav-data package, that might not be the best place. And yes, it really is a simple as pointing some $webserver to /var/lib/clamav on a host running freshclam. Two sentences in whatever documentation should suffice. Best regards, Michael
