The main Debian archive now has rsyncable gzipped meta files. This has caused debmirror to unnecessarily download the gzipped file after first applying pdiffs, because the md5sum of the gzipped file created by debmirror no longer matches the one in the Release file.
Please accept debmirror (20070123lenny1) which fixes this issue by also using the --rsyncable flag to compress Packages/Sources files after applying pdiffs. TIA, FJP
