Hi, a change in libxklavier12 made it return strings in UTF-8, while they were in user locale before. This breaks xfkc because it encoded the string into UTF-8, so the text was garbled on iso locales.
I just uploaded a new version (which use the same fix has gnome-control-center), it'd be nice if it could be allowed to move to Lenny when the 10 days are over, so iso users don't see the problem. Changes: xfkc (0.2-2) unstable; urgency=low [ Stefan Ott ] * Added debian/watch * debian/control: update e-mail address [ Yves-Alexis Perez ] * debian/patches: - 01_fix-xklavier-switch-utf8 added, don't try to convert xklavier strings to UTF-8 as it's already is. closes: #499960 * debian/rules: include simple-patchsys. * debian/control: - update standards version to 3.8.0. - remove Rudy Godoy and Martin Loschwitz from Uploaders, thanks for the work. Cheers, -- Yves-Alexis
