This request is about gnucash bug #303234. There are two ways available to address this bug.
The bug new has a patch helpfully contributed, which would enable us finally to make this work, which is a crucial thing for German users. But I would much prefer to use what upstream gnucash will release itself, which is due the 21st of July. I'm hoping for permission to upload the new release, rather than the patch, and get exemption so that it can get through the freeze. But if this is not possible, I'll do the patch instead, unless release managers advise I should do neither. Would you please let me know what would be best?
