Texamcs depends upon guile-1.8-libs. However guile libraries are ABI incompatible when built with and without the threads support.
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=439923 The current package in unstable is built against guile (with threads enabled). However the latest guile package in unstable is without any threads support. So texmacs segfaults if a user installs guile-1.8-libs, texmacs now.
