You can, but p-u is frozen right now in preparation for a point release on Saturday - see https://lists.debian.org/debian-release/2026/03/msg00093.html / https://lists.debian.org/debian-stable-announce/2026/03/msg00000.html As a result, the earliest that the package will actually reach p-u will be after the point release.
