The latest upstream of gmerlin breaks ABI and API and
therefore includes a soname bump of libgmerlin.
The Debian packages have updated their names accordingly.

The new gmerlin has been uploaded to experimental and has passed
the NEW queue.
I've done test-builds of all immediate reverse-dependencies as
indicated by
https://release.debian.org/transitions/html/auto-gmerlin.html
The list of reverse dependencies is:
- gmerlin-avdecoder
- gmerlin-encoders

Both packages are sibling projects of gmerlin.
Versions compatible with (and requiring) libgmerlin3 are waiting in
experimental (and a required library transition for those of these
packages that provide libraries will be requested shortly).

Thanks for your consideration.

The old binaries got removed from testing. Closing
