The build-using fix is fine. The sleep wrt to the tests seems like a crude workaround, but if it helps, I wouldn't reject the upload because of that. It certainly won't make the situation worse than it already is. If you want to include it, you can do so. Please go ahead with the upload and remove the moreinfo tag from this unblock request once the new upload has been in unstable for a few days, and you think it's ready to migrate. Thanks, Ivo
