So... I've seen the failures. The reported problem is this: Bailout called. Further testing stopped: command "/usr/bin/zstd -d /build/reproducible-path/postgresql-15-15.12/build/src/bin/pg_verifybackup/tmp_check/t_010_client_untar_primary_data/backup/client-backup/base.tar.zst" exited with value 37 pg_verifybackup/tmp_check/t_010_client_untar_primary_data/backup/client-backup/base.tar.zst" exited with value 37 I cannot reproduce them in the bookworm chroot on eberlin. The pg_verifybackup code has not changed since the 15.11 upload to bookworm the week earlier (which was successful), and none of the 6 other commits between the two releases look even remotely related. I'll keep digging, but it looks rather unpromising. Christoph
